CDT Two

The CDT Two is a very high quality transport, designed around Audio Note UK’s core principles. To reduce inherent noise to a minimum, the circuitry uses three separate transformers and supplies. Audio Note silver cable is employed for internal digital signal transfer and the output stage uses a silver-wire wound transformer. Electronics feature Audio Note tantalum resistors and Cerafine capacitors.
 
 
 
A highly musical transport, the CDT-Two is available with a face plate in either brushed aluminium, or polished black acrylic to match other products in the Audio Note UK range.
 
 
 
A length of Audio Note's AN-V symmetrical-silver coaxial cable carries the digital signal to a small output board, which itself connects to both balanced (XLR) and single-ended (RCA) outputs. 
 
 
 
The last and largest element inside the CDT Two’s is its power-supply board, which contains two separate mains transformers and three solid-state rectifiers.
 
 
 
Uniquely, this transport uses the Philips CD Pro mechanism.
